FIGHTING DRUG TRAFFICKING
Since 2013, Wilson County has recorded approximately 233 drug-related deaths, with 65% involving fentanyl. Nash County has recorded approximately 288 drug-related deaths, with 63% involving fentanyl. Edgecombe County has recorded approximately 201 drug-related deaths, with 63% involving fentanyl. Under North Carolina's Death by Distribution law, District 8 has been among the districts actively pursuing these cases against fentanyl dealers.
The fentanyl crisis continues to threaten families across Wilson, Nash, and Edgecombe counties. Jeffrey Marsigli is committed to aggressively prosecuting drug traffickers, targeting the organizations responsible for distributing fentanyl and other dangerous narcotics, and working alongside local, state, and federal law enforcement to disrupt the flow of illegal drugs into our communities.
By prioritizing major trafficking cases and holding offenders accountable, his goal is to reduce drug-related crime, prevent overdose deaths, and make District 8 a safer place to live.
Vote to prosecute drug trafficking and choose Jeffrey Marsigli for District Attorney on November 3.
